Although most students have always heard of IELTS as the most used test, PTE has its own advantages. The test is easy as compared to IELTS and its test assessment time is also shorter. While most people complain that for anyone to pass IELTS one should have the English writing skills of Shakes[ear, for PTE, however, it is not necessary. PTE assesses the knowledge of the candidate based on short easy tests and it is easy to master.

IELTS vs PTE Test Components
As mentioned above, the PTE & IELTS are almost the same but PTE has slowly become more popular among students. The Canadian government has also allowed PTE to be accepted as an official English proficiency certificate. PTE was already widely accepted in Australia while its inclusion in North American countries as an official English test makes it even more important.
As far as the components of the PTE & IELTS are concerned in both the IELTS academic and PTE academic, the test taker is accessed on the basis of their speaking, reading and writing.
However, IELTS has writing, listening, speaking and reading tests all separated. While in PTE Academic tests the integrated skills of speaking and writing. Which means there are only three components of the test. Which makes it more natural and easy.
