  •  A bachelor’s degree with at least 60% marks or a master’s degree with at least 50% marks
  •  An unconditional offer from a Scottish university that is part of the Scotland Pakistan Scholarship scheme
  •  A minimum of two years of work experience in a relevant field
  •  A clear statement of purpose and career goals
  •  A good command of English language, with an IELTS score of at least 6.5 or equivalent

Commonwealth Scholarships

Commonwealth Scholarships are one of the most prestigious and competitive scholarships for students from Pakistan who want to pursue higher education in the UK. These scholarships are funded by the UK Department for International Development (DFID) and cover total tuition fees, living expenses, airfare, and other allowances. 

The scholarships are offered for one-year Master’s or three-year PhD programs in various fields of study, such as health, education, governance, environment, and social development. To be eligible for these scholarships, you need to have:

  •  A Pakistani citizenship and a valid passport or ID card
  •  A bachelor’s degree with at least 60% marks or a master’s degree with at least 50% marks
  •  An unconditional offer from a UK university that is part of the Commonwealth Scholarship scheme
  •  A minimum of two years of work experience in a relevant field

Charles Wallace Pakistan Trust (CWPT)

Charles Wallace Pakistan Trust (CWPT) is a charitable organisation that supports Pakistani students and professionals who wish to enhance their skills and knowledge in the UK. The trust offers grants and fellowships for short-term courses, research projects, workshops, and cultural exchanges in arts, humanities, and social sciences.

 The grants and fellowships cover travel, accommodation, fees, and living expenses. The duration of the grants and fellowships ranges from two weeks to three months. To be eligible for these grants and fellowships, you need to have:

  •  A Pakistani citizenship and a valid passport or ID card
  •  A bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in a relevant field
  •  A confirmed offer or invitation from a UK institution or organisation that is part of the CWPT network
  •  A clear statement of objectives and expected outcomes
  •  A good command of English language, with an IELTS score of at least 6.0 or equivalent
