Australia Student Visa Application

 

Once you have met the requirements, you can proceed to apply for your student visa online through the Department of Home Affairs website. You will need 

  • Create an ImmiAccount and fill out an online application form 
  • Add correct personal details, education history, course details, financial information, health insurance details, and other relevant information. 
  • Upload scanned copies of your documents, such as your passport, CoE, OSHC policy, 
  • Add English test results, bank statements, etc.

 

You can apply for your student visa up to 124 days before your course starts. However, it is advisable to apply as early as possible to avoid any delays or complications.

 

Australia Student Visa Documents Checklist

The documents you need to provide for your student visa application may vary depending on your country of origin, course level, education provider, and personal circumstances. However, some of the common documents you will need are:

 

  • Passport: You must have a valid passport that has at least six months of validity from the date of your intended arrival in Australia.
  • CoE: You must have a CoE from your education provider that shows your course name, duration, start and end dates, tuition fees, and CRICOS code.

  • The cost of applying for a student visa is AUD 630 for the main applicant, plus AUD 470 for each additional applicant over 18 years old and AUD 150 for each additional applicant under 18 years old.
